New space on campus just for student entrepreneurs

Entre-Space, network, brainstorm, create

At UMBC, we believe in entrepreneurship and innovation!  The Alex. Brown
Center is delighted to announce we will soon be opening Entre-space - a
place where entrepreneurial students can attend workshops, meet with
business mentors and campus advisers, network with other entrepreneurial
students, and work on their ideas and team projects.

Entre-space will be opening this fall and will be housed in the old
Theatre building.  It will be available for student access weekdays from 7am - 11pm and will require EVERY student to scan their campus ID for
admittance.

Entre-space will feature work space, large community work tables, an
entire wall of white boards, and several small conference rooms.

We are extremely excited about this new space which will help foster an
atmosphere for creativity and learning. We want to hear your ideas on how
we can make Entre-space meet your entrepreneurial needs. Do you have a
specific entrepreneurial skill you would like to learn more about? Do you
know an entrepreneur we should contact to bring in for a CEO Chat?  Let us
hear your thoughts!
