The ELL is a semester-long, cohort-based program where faculty learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and innovation, then apply these skills by evaluating the commercialization or social-impact potential of cohort proposed research projects. This experience is ideal for faculty interested in product development, consulting, research, design, entrepreneurship, or innovation in any field.
Faculty who complete the program will earn a $1200 stipend.
Faculty from all departments are eligible to participate. Participants must be committed to attending all workshops and completing the project work.
No prior entrepreneurship experience is required.
There is also an additional paid opportunity (up to $1,000) upon completion of the program, to work on a summer project related to the research development.
Applications will open soon for the Spring 2027 cohort of the Entrepreneurial Learning Lab!
This program is funded by a grant from TEDCO and is offered through partnership between the Alex. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (ABCEI) and the Engineering and Computing Education Program (ECEP).
