Reminder #1: The Alex. Brown Center and the Career Center have an amazing event for you! Join us for the Entrepreneurs Panel Discussion TODAY, April 17th, from 12-1pm in University Center 312.
This Entrepreneurs Panel event will feature three entrepreneurs from our community:
-Chandler Givens, Director of Product & Commercial Innovation at Avast
-Alaire Jameson '19 '20, Co-Founder & COO of Upfront Capital
-Amanda Ly '20, Founder & CEO of Opalescent Soul Garden Co.
During this presentation, each panelist will share about their entrepreneurial journey as well as answer questions from the audience. This is the perfect opportunity to learn from real entrepreneurs! FREE snacks will be provided AND we will be giving away FREE SHIRTS to everyone that attends the event!
Reminder #2: You're invited to the 2023 CBIC Final Event! The final event will be held THIS THURSDAY, April 20th so be sure to mark your calendars!
This event showcases the finalists from this year's competition entries. The CBIC is an opportunity for UMBC students who are serious about starting a business or social impact venture to pitch their idea to a panel of judges to win money to help launch their venture.
A networking session with heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be held prior to the event for attendees to meet alumni entrepreneurs, fellow students and community members interested in entrepreneurship. See the flyer below for more information!
