UMBC established the Alex. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Spring 2000 through a generous gift of $1 million from The Alex. Brown Foundation.
Since that time, UMBC has worked closely with the Baltimore business community and UMBC faculty and staff with one vision in mind—to create a leading center for university entrepreneurism and innovation.
UMBC believes that entrepreneurship is for everyone! The Alex. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation provides resources and events to help students learn the fundamental principles of entrepreneurship so they can achieve their own entrepreneurial dreams!
Your support will allow us to more fully fund programs that support student entrepreneurs such as the IDEA competition and other programming provided on campus.
Any donation is helpful, and regardless of the size of your gift, thank you for joining our work.
