IT'S A PARTY TIME!!! July is Startup Grind’s global party month. Yeah, we get to let our hair down and have some fun. Join Startup Grind Columbia’s 7-month anniversary on July 24 and they have some great things planned.
Startup Grind Columbia is holding inaugural "Startup Showcase Funtacular" featuring 6 local young startups who will pitch the audience for prizes. They have to do so in unusual ways without the use of the dreaded PowerPoint. Attend this event and see how creative they can be.
Each startup will have one hour to meet with as many attendees as possible and "sell" their company using only an Executive Summary, their interpersonal communications skills, and small highly creative and unique props and visuals (NO POWER POINTS). Then each startup will do a 3 minute "speed pitch" from the stage.
Using real time, on-line feedback/voting app, the audience gets to provide real time feedback, comments, and suggestions during the event then will immediately vote for the winners. Prizes will be awarded including one for the most creative presentation.
It’s going to be a lot of fun!!

About Chapter Director
Chris Haug
Chris is the Columbia, mid-Maryland Startup Grind Chapter Director and Founder | CEO of 360° Strategy Solutions Group. He's a veteran of three start-ups of his own including the first sporting goods specialty e-commerce retailer and played critical roles in the creation and growth of 12 additional ventures. He's active in the mid-Maryland Tech and Innovation community through his involvement with the Howard Tech Council and Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship.
