INNOVATE!
Take your research or great idea and start a company!

Enter the UMD $75K Startup Challenge by February 22, 2013 with just an executive summary and a three-minute video pitch.

Interested initial entrants can take advantage of Innovation Office Hours, offered weekly on campus, for advice in preparing submissions. Visit www.ioh.umd.edu for a complete schedule.

ACCELERATE!
Advance your company with the credibility that comes from completing the business model canvas and customer development process through a premier competition.

Up to nine finalists will be invited to complete the new Maryland-Corps (M-Corps) program, where teams are guided through an intensive business model development and customer development process modeled after the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps).

WIN CASH!
Potentially win a share of thousands in cash prizes and in-kind services.

The competition has awarded nearly $700K to companies originating at the University of Maryland since 2001.

Winners are eligible for a free year in the TERP Startup Lab.
